These last two months have been such busy times of the year for my family and I! My son's birthday and Thanksgiving in November then my daughter's birthday, my birthday, Christmas and a wedding in December! Whew!

Early last month, I received notification that I was able to sign up from Beauty Army since I was wait listed. Around a week later, I was asked to check the nine samples available through my login and choose up to 6 samples for the month.
Beauty army is a monthly subscription of beauty samples that costs $12 per month. You take an initial quiz called their 'beauty profile' that creates customized product samples for you to choose from each month. My Julep's May box was highly anticipated because it had a magnetic nail polish called Kylie. The magnetic nail polish had made its debut several months ago retailing between $15 to $20 a bottle and I was excited that Julep came out with their version. It's great to have gotten this polish along with two additional polishes and a mini pedi cream sample with my monthly membership. Can we say a box valued WAY over it's box purchase? I can!

Thoughts on Gogogirlfriend as a company and its products:
This is my second box with GGG and I am not a fan of the company and its products. I feel that they have bad customer service and the products aren't very high quality with comparison to Birchbox.
The monthly subscription payment is taken during the middle of the month and you don't receive a box until the middle of next month. For this box, they deducted the $12.99 in the middle of December and I didn't receive this box until last week. I think that's ridiculous!
The products are items that I wouldn't purchase on an everyday basis, which is the nice thing about these monthly boxes - the discovery of new products. I could see that the total value of the products sent were worth the $12.99 paid.
I ordered a discounted deluxe box during the first couple weeks of December and I will do an unboxing for that once I get it! But for the time being, I have decided to cancel my membership with GGG.
