What's up with your false lashes, girl?

False lashes add the look of drama to anyone's eyes, even if it were being layered over sparse lashes or long thick lashes.

So have you ever wondered....

  • What are they made of?
  • How many times can you use them?
  • Are there certain ways to care for them?
  • When should you throw them away?
Well, you've come to the right place to get a smidgen of information on False Lashes.

What are false lashes usually made of?
Many lashes could be made from human hair, synthetic, silk, or mink.

How many times can you use them?
Depending on what they are made of and how you handle, use and care for them. The lashes can last between the range of one and up to 25 uses.

Are there certain ways to care from them?
             Yes!
  • When removing lashes from packaging, press down against package and slide off in opposite direction. NEVER peel from the end of lashes off the packaging. KEEP the packaging for storage.
  • Gently peel the eyelashes from one end off your eyelid
  • Use tweezer to remove glue from eyelashes
  • Clean those lashes to avoid bacteria buildup. Dip q-tip into alcohol and rub onto lashes and band to clean.
  • Place back onto the packaging to keep shape.
When should you throw them away?
There aren't a set of rules of when to throw them out but a couple of things that may lead you to depart with those bad girls.
  • If there are lashes pointing in random ways
  • If the hairs on the lashes have fallen off
  • If they just don't look good anymore like crusty, brittle, etc.
With these little tips, you can make lashes last longer than one use which is especially nice for lashes that cost a little more.

Do you have other tips to keep your lashes last longer? What are your favorite brands?
