Review: Stash Tea - Herbal tea sampler 9 flavors; caffeine free

2 Each; Apple Cinnamon Chamomile, Lemon Ginger, Licorice Spice, Chamomile, Peppermint, Acai Berry, Mango Passionfruit, Wild Raspberry and Blueberry Superfruit.

Being a nursing mom and receiving a box of caffeine free tea sample was such an awesome treat! The first thing I had to do was look up the ingredients of each tea to ensure that it was  'ok' for me. All items in each tea were fine except the peppermint tea and licorice spice but into tea testing I went!

Stash Tea's mission is

To become the leader in creating and selling high quality specialty teas and products that enhance the tea drinking experience.

After testing all (except peppermint) the hot teas, I can definitely say that Stash Tea definitely delivered on offering high quality tea in each flavor. Every cup of tea was very flavorful with each sip. I drink my tea without any sweetener because I enjoy the simple taste that the tea itself offers. I tried my first cup of tea with Truvia sweetener but felt the sugar overpowered it that I didn't enjoy the tea.

Here are each teas and my thoughts:

Blueberry superfruit
A bright blend of fruit flavors takes this tea to a whole new level of refreshment and thirst-quenching enjoyment. Pleasingly tart by itself or add a bit of sugar for a different taste treat. Try it iced, too - delicious!
-
Ranked 3 out of 5 stars - delicious but it seemed that it had caffeine because I felt like a drank a cup of regular coffee which was not good for me with a baby sleeping through the night.

On contrast, Husband ranked it 5 out 5 stars!

Mango Passionfruit
Mango Passionfruit herbal tisane, we've taken fruity ingredients such as rosehips, orange peel, hibiscus and lemongrass and naturally sweet flavor of mango and the tropical flavor of passion fruit
-
Ranked 5 out of 5 stars - very tasteful with a stronger orange taste than other flavors

Lemon Ginger
blend of ginger root, lemongrass, lemon flavor, safflower, hibiscus and citric acid.
Ranked 5 out of 5 stars - A good blend of ginger and lemon. Not too gingery or lemony

Wild Raspberry Hibiscus
Ingredients: hibiscus, lemongrass, orange peel, rosehips, natural raspberry flavor, citric acid, licorice powder
-
Ranked 5 out of 5 stars - very good & enjoyed! Had a very strong rasberry flavor with hits of the other ingredients.

Licorice Spice

cinnamon, licorice root, orange peel, star anise, natural vanilla flavor, sarsaparilla, orange oil, natural cinnamon flavor, natural clove flavor, cardamom oil. *licorice root not intended during pregnant, nursing or have heart disease/high blood pressure.

-
Ranked 0 out 5 stars - I'm NOT a fan of licorice (unless it's twizzlers) flavor and I wanted to taste this to give my honest opinion not knowing the *notice of nursing. This solidified my distaste for this flavor.

Peppermint - Made of just peppermint (did not test personally but my mom said it was good) and ranked 4 out of 5 stars.

Chamomile - Made of just chamomile. This has become one out of the two teas I tested as my favorite! Very sweet tasting and flavorful. Ranked 5 out 5 stars.

Acai BerryFruity blend combines tart hibiscus with natural acai berry, blackberry, and blackcurrant flavors and was nice and fruity. Ranked 5 out 5 stars.

Cinnamon Apple Chamomile - Made of cinnamon, hibiscus, chamomile, natural apple flavor. This was the second tea out of the nine teas that is my favorite. It was packed with strong flavors of cinnamon and apple with the chamomile giving it an overall sweetness. Ranked 5 out of 5 stars.

Here I am using some of my cooled tea bags to help tame the under eye puffiness. :0)

Overall I am happy about this sample box of teas, aside from the licorice spice and the weird caffeine reaction to the blueberry superfruit, I ranked the product at 5 out of 5 stars. Although there were some products that didn't rank 5 stars, the fact that each tea was packed with flavors in every cup regardless of my personal palette, warranted its high ranking.

What "flavor" of tea bags do you use under eyes?

Lol i took the berry ones. Technically the ones that work best are the ones with caffeine like green tea. These were more for the cooling effect. :0)
