This month, I received a package of imPRESS manicure kit in the Influenster mom voxbox and I was interested to see how I'd like them.

My Thoughts -

Over two months ago, I tried a kit of press-on nails from another brand and I wasn't a fan because they either popped off within hours or the glue on the nails made the fake nail sit on top of my nail with gaps on tips and close to cuticle.

So getting this package, I wanted to see how they differed from my most recent experience. When I saw the color of the press-on manicure, I didn't like the color and hoped for a package with the funky/fun designs.

The packaging that the nails were in was really creative being in a plastic nail polish bottle. I had the hardest time figuring out how to open the plastic nail polish that I even had my husband who successfully opened it.

How to apply -

The directions for application was simple and self explanatory. Matching the appropriate size fake nails to my real nails was easy enough and application was easy by removing the plastic sheet over the glue under the nail. Placing the fake nail on my freshly cleaned with the enclosed cleaner nails close to the cuticle and pressing down to ensure adherence.

Application took no longer than 10 minutes and my nails were ready to go. The glue was sturdy and stayed put immediately. Since I didn't like the color, I added an accent color with Sally Hansen's magnetic polish to my ring finger using another Influenster product from my summer beauty voxbox.

The press-on manicure stayed on for seven day which met to its claim and removal was very easy. Using my opposite fingers, I lifted from the side of the nails and peeled fake nail while holding my nail down so that it wasn't lifting my real nail too much. Little to no damage was caused from removing the fake nail and my nail was ready for the next polish change.

Although the apparent gaps under each of the nails were annoying me because they were collecting items under the tips and snagging hair from the cuticle end, I was able to test that they stayed on for seven days and that they were still strongly adhering to my real nail.

With a good number of press-on nails left, I plan on creating some personalized DIY designs that usually would be hard to do on the non dominant hand. Or be able to have painted nails with vibrant glitter polish on it - since I dread removing glitter from my nails. Before applying the fake nails, I plan on designing each nail by using the plastic tab taped down on a work station.

I like how quick you can create a new manicure look and as quickly remove it without nail polish remover. The staying power met up to its claim and there are numerous designs to choose from for a reasonable cost.
