Green Toys [Review+Giveaway] closed/US&CA only

Toys can do many things for your child(ren) such as assist in their developmental milestones, occupy the child's time, etc. But now a days, toy recalls have been widespread for many reasons and one of those reasons is high levels of toxic lead contained in the toy.

With this concern, it creates an extra step a parent takes when determining if a toy is safe for their child. I found a great toy company called Green Toys that creates toys that alleviates the lead concern and is eco-friendly.

When I removed the Tool Set from its packaging for my son, these were the first things I noticed:

• Light weight
• Sturdy toys
• Surprised that it was created completely out of recycled plastic milk jugs
• Multiple use for the tool carrier - hold tools and to put bolts/screws using tools from this set

My son was excited to get this new toy and had a great time playing with it. He initially needed help with how each tool worked which dad helped with but he had an hour of play time it. We are still learning to put toys back and this was a great toy to help learn that new task. After having it over a month, he continues to enjoy playing with them and tries to put them away when asked.

My daughter turned five months on 29th of May and we noticed that she may be in early stages of teething. She has been playing with this toy for over a month and it is really great toy. It rattles when shaken, it helps her dexterity by reaching/grasping to this toy and since getting it she will gnaw on this throughout the day.

I appreciated the toy being dishwasher safe, made of food safe material and alleviating the concern of any other unknown substance that could be harmful to my child.
