These last two months have been such busy times of the year for my family and I! My son's birthday and Thanksgiving in November then my daughter's birthday, my birthday, Christmas and a wedding in December! Whew!

A December deluxe box from gogogirlfriend in March is very poor customer service!
I have had bad service after my first box and decided to get a deluxe box as my last hoorah with this company. Well, it took them 3 months to get me this box. Good riddance. Being a birchbox member for 10 months now, customer service and transparency of when boxes would be received is high on their priorities - which didn't seem to be the case with gogogirlfriend.
This deluxe box was offered to members and contained many full size items well worth over the value paid - $28.
After calculating the value of each item in this box, it came out to over $50 which in turn saved me over $30!
Yet another unboxing! I have one more box and I'll be done for January on my monthly boxes. Lol.

I love the concept of a Birchbox version just for moms with infants and toddlers, which are right up my alley! Boxes arrive in a timely manner and they send you shipping information on your box when it's sent out. They time it so that you receive an email talking about the items you just received after you've gotten your month's box. I'm really excited about so many of the items because they are items that I wouldn't personally buy just at first glance but now I get to try them out before I decide to purchase! You can also earn credits that can be used towards full size purchases by doing reviews on products you've received for the month!

Thoughts on Gogogirlfriend as a company and its products:
This is my second box with GGG and I am not a fan of the company and its products. I feel that they have bad customer service and the products aren't very high quality with comparison to Birchbox.
The monthly subscription payment is taken during the middle of the month and you don't receive a box until the middle of next month. For this box, they deducted the $12.99 in the middle of December and I didn't receive this box until last week. I think that's ridiculous!
The products are items that I wouldn't purchase on an everyday basis, which is the nice thing about these monthly boxes - the discovery of new products. I could see that the total value of the products sent were worth the $12.99 paid.
I ordered a discounted deluxe box during the first couple weeks of December and I will do an unboxing for that once I get it! But for the time being, I have decided to cancel my membership with GGG.

It's a monthly box you pay for where you receive anywhere from $40 or more in value in eco-friendly and organic products from up and coming and well known brands.
Their subscriptions work with a monthly ($19/month + $3 shipping), 3 months ($19/month; free shipping) and 6 months program ($18/month; free shipping). On the 15th of the month, they send you an email of the themed boxes and you have until the end of month to choose their limited supply of boxes. You can choose if you want either a food, bath&body, or household products box. If you decide you don't want the box for the month you can skip too!
